LiveGig
is a company that goes out to live venues and records acts in front of
an audience. Most commonly this will be at a pub or club, but larger
venues are also catered for.
The resulting recordings may not always produce a result that can be
compared to a studio produced album, but does give a real
"feel" of a band and a special atmosphere that you only get
at live gigs. Post recording techniques can be added and additional
tracks can be added if required (see
Equipment for more technical details).
Full
consultation with the band is always encouraged during the mixing
process, and all band members will be issued with the resulting CD
that comes in a specially produced CD case with photos that have been
taken at the event.
